Luke 4: 18-19 says 18The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 19To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
In 2005 Evangelist Selena Denise Hunter allowed a geographical shift to Raleigh, NC. This shift revealed God’s original plan & purpose even clearer through preach; teaching and evangelize. 2006 I attended Emmanuel Temple Deliverance Tabernacle located in Raleigh, N.C. Under the leadership of Pastor Louis Sykes & First Lady Bessie Sykes. Where I served many of the same areas that God has anointed me in.
In the year of 2008 Evangelist Selena Denise Hunter joins union with her husband Elder Demetrius T. Hunter. Due to this union I was release from under the tutelage of Bishop L. Moore & Pastor Louis Sykes. Where at this time I’m an active and faithful member of Lincoln Park Holiness Church located on 13 Heath Street, Raleigh NC. Now attending Lincoln Park through leadership as place me over the Jr. Choir of the church. God is still birthing out my personal ministry (Women Without Excuse Ministries). Evangelist Selena Denise Hunter is the Founder and Chief Facilitator of WWEM. The mandate that God has place over my life is not only to let the people know that Jesus came to save, deliver and set them free from their sins. But to help many men, women and children who have been hurt through church tradition. As well helping them to tap into the power that they posses. Once we the people of God know "Who we are" as well as "Who’s we are." We will be able to operate in the power that has been ordained by God. The power to change the atmosphere, speak life to every dead area of our lives. Able to speak to the mountains that has blocked us from our destiny. Able to walk through the valley & come out with VICTORY. Deliverance will only come through the teaching and preaching of the WORD of God. Be not weary in well doing cause in due season ye shall reap if you FAINT Not!!!!
Which through this entire God has blessed me three great children: Shawntrell Smith (29); Demetria Smith (28); Joshua Bruno (25) & a special god-son Tyshon Bucker(13yrs) & the joy of her life the only grandson Amair age 6.
